                          Director/PDMR Shareholding

 

As announced on 1 October 2012, the  Company is pleased to confirm that  Brian 
McBride has today joined ASOS as its non-executive Chairman.

 

Under the terms of his service contract dated 1 October 2012, the Company  has 
issued 4,434 ordinary  shares of  3.5 pence  each ("Ordinary  Shares") to  Mr. 
McBride.  This  grant  comprises  ASOS Ordinary  Shares  worth  £100,000  when 
calculated with reference to  the closing price of  the Ordinary Shares on  31 
October 2012 of  £22.55.  The grant  of these Ordinary  Shares represents  the 
first of three annual grants to Mr.  McBride of 4,434 ASOS Ordinary Shares  of 
3.5 pence each, with the other two  grants occurring on 1 November 2013 and  1 
November 2014 subject only (in each case) to Mr. McBride still being appointed
as non-executive chairman of the Company on each such date.

 

Application will be made for the 4,434  new Ordinary Shares to be admitted  to 
trading on  AIM. These  new Ordinary  Shares  will rank  pari passu  with  the 
existing Ordinary  Shares of  the Company  and dealings  in the  new  Ordinary 
Shares are expected to commence on 7 November 2012. 

 

Following this transaction, Mr. McBride holds 4,434 shares in ASOS plc.
