SACRAMENTO, Calif., Oct. 31, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Aerojet, a GenCorp
(NYSE:GY) company, announced today that its Vice President of Engineering,
Marvin Young, will be receiving Purdue University's Outstanding Mechanical
Engineer (OME) Award at a banquet this Friday, Nov. 2.

The prestigious OME award was established by Purdue in 1991 to honor alumni
who have demonstrated exemplary accomplishments and leadership related to the
mechanical engineering industry.

Young has served with Aerojet for more than 26 years. In his current role, he
