Former FDIC Chair, Sheila Bair, to Speak at Executives' Club of Chicago

of Chicago will welcome Former FDIC Chair and Senior Advisor to The Pew
Charitable Trusts, Sheila Bair, for a breakfast program on A Regulator's View
of the Financial Crisis.
Bair is expected to share her views on the state of the financial industry,
the reforms needed for a strong and secure future, as well as highlights from
her new book, Bull by the Horns: Fighting to Save Main Street from Wall Street
and Wall Street from Itself. Additionally, she will speak about the importance
of standing strong during a crisis and how leaders can prepare in advance for
the next shock-scenario.
Bair has twice been recognized by Forbes magazine as the second most powerful
woman in the world. She also topped The Wall Street Journal's annual 50 "Women
to Watch List" in 2008 and was named one of TIME Magazine's "Time 100" most
influential people in 2009.
