OTTAWA, Oct. 16, 2012 /CNW/ - A decade after a successful move from radio to 
print journalism, Rick Gibbons returns to his roots of broadcast journalism as 
host of a new, afternoon radio program on Ottawa's News Talk Radio 580 CFRA, 
it was announced today. Beginning Monday, Oct. 22, Rick Gibbons can be heard 
weekdays from 12 noon - 3 p.m., starting with the popular CFRA LUNCH BUNCH at 
12:20 p.m., and then opening phone lines to callers and guests to talk about 
the biggest issues of the day in Ottawa.

Gibbons draws upon 37 years of media experience as host of his new radio show,

London, England, and Germany. His wide-ranging journalistic career has 
included beats in politics, business, and military affairs, where his ground 
breaking reporting on the "Somalia Affair" helped trigger a public inquiry.
