Family Dollar Stores, Inc. (NYSE: FDO), one of the fastest-growing discount
retail chains in the United States, announced today a new partnership with
Healthways (NASDAQ: HWAY), a national leader in health and wellness solutions.
This multi-year agreement offers Family Dollar’s Team Members a wide-range of
wellness programs to optimize their health and underscores Family Dollar’s
strong commitment to proactively engage in activities which encourage healthy
living.

these services will include Healthways Well-Being Assessments™, the Well-Being
Connect™ web-based personal behavior change application, wellbeingGO™ mobile
application, biometric screenings, onsite program management and engagement
marketing, health risk coaching, incentive management and wellness
competitions and challenges.
