Citi soars in the Institutional Investor Emerging Market Investor Survey

London.... Citi today underlined its position as a leader in Emerging Markets Research, Sales and Trading as the Bank was named among the highest ranked firms in the 2012 Institutional Investor Emerging EMEA survey.

In the research portion of the survey, Citi was ranked number one in seven sectors including Metals and Mining, Chemicals, Construction and Engineering, Consumer and Financials. The Country and Strategy teams were ranked in first place for their research in Emerging Market strategy and the Middle East and Africa. Citi was ranked in 2nd place for sales in the region overall, demonstrating the progress made by the franchise.
