For the purposes  of the FSA's  Disclosure and Transparency  Rules, the  total 
number of ordinary shares of 25p each of Filtrona plc in issue as at close  of 
business on 1 May 2012  is 219,326,795 with each  share carrying the right  to 
one vote.

 

There are 9,607,195 shares held in treasury.

 

The total number of voting rights in Filtrona plc is therefore 209,719,600.

 

The figure  of  209,719,60  may  be used  by  shareholders  (and  others  with 
notification obligations) as  the denominator  for the  calculations by  which 
they will determine if they are required to notify their interest, or a change
to their interest in, Filtrona plc under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency
