STWA Attends 2012 Montana Energy Conference With Key Domestic Energy
US DOE Testing Results Generate Interest at Conference Focused on
Bakken Formation
SANTA BARBARA, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 04/16/12 -- STWA, Inc. (OTCBB:
ZERO) ("STWA" or the "Company"), a developer of applied solutions for
oil and fuel delivery systems in the multi-billion dollar oil
pipeline and diesel engine markets, announced today that it was
invited to attend the sold-out 2012 Montana Energy Conference in
Billings, Montana.
Key members of STWA's management team met with domestic energy
producers to discuss opportunities for the Company's Applied Oil
Technology(TM) (AOT(TM)) oil pipeline efficiency technology. AOT(TM)
reduces the viscosity of crude oil to enable pipelines to operate
with reduced energy intensity, enabling higher flow rates from
existing and new pipeline infrastructure.
The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE)'s Rocky Mountain Oilfield Testing
Center (RMOTC) published the latest AOT(TM) test results on April
4th, the second day of the conference. These tests showed that
AOT(TM) reduced oil viscosity by 40.01%, resulting in a 40.04%
reduction in pipeline pressure drop per mile. The results sparked
strong interest from industry, leading to one-on-one meetings and
presentations with companies and government dignitaries including
Trans-Canada, Enbridge, Voyager Petroleum, Oasis Oil, Acorn Energy,
Power Service Inc., National Oilwell Varco, On Point, Industrial
Screen and Maintenance and other suppliers and prospective customers.
During the meetings, STWA discussed in detail the scale and scope of
AOT(TM)'s benefits to industry.
"The last minute invite to attend this important energy conference
signifies the strong level of interest in AOT(TM) from industry,"
said STWA CEO Cecil Bond Kyte. "The fact that leaders from our
burgeoning supply
chain and prospective customer base made the trip
to Billings, Montana on their own volition only underscores the solid
team effort and commitment to success from all involved. Our 40%
pressure drop results are being very well received by prospective
customers. This is a positive step in our Company's development as we
move closer to commercialization of our technology."

About the US DOE Test
The technology, currently in testing with the
United States Department of Energy, is directed at improving the
efficiency and throughput capacity of conventional energy
infrastructure. The research was co-funded by STWA, Inc. and the
Pipeline Research Council International (PRCI), the preeminent global
collaborative research development organization of, by, and for the
energy pipeline industry. Work was directed by Clarke Turner, Brian
Haight, Wes Lintz, Wes Riesland, George Hughes and Jeanette Buelt,
all of the United States Department of Energy Rocky Mountain Oilfield
Testing Center. To view the U.S. DOE's report on these test results
