CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- December 18, 2008

Premier Purchasing Partners, LP, today announced new agreements for patient
room and systems furniture have been awarded to Hill-Rom Company Inc. of
Batesville, Ind.; Herman Miller Inc. of Zeeland, Mich.; Knoll Inc. of East
Greenville, Pa.; KI of Green Bay, Wisc.; Nemschoff Chairs Inc. of Sheboygan,
Wisc.; and Steelcase Inc. of Grand Rapids, Mich.

Premier’s new patient room and systems furniture category replaces the
following formerly separate categories: textiles and upholstery; patient room
furnishings; and systems office furniture, filing, seating, accessories and
wood.

Effective January 1, 2009, the 24-month agreements are available to acute care
and continuum of care members of the Premier healthcare alliance.
