Verenium to Speak at 2008 BIO International Convention

CAMBRIDGE, Mass., June 10 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Verenium Corporation
(Nasdaq: VRNM), a leading developer of cellulosic ethanol technology and a
pioneer in the development of high-performance specialty enzymes, announced
today that Carlos A. Riva, Verenium's President and Chief Executive Officer,
will speak at the 2008 BIO International Conference as part of the Leadership
Summit on Biofuels and Cleantech. The summit is scheduled from 1:00 - 5:30
p.m. PT on Monday, June 16, and will take place at the San Diego Convention
Center, Upper Level 28 A-C. 
As part of this roundtable, from 2:15 - 3:30 p.m. PT, Mr. Riva will
discuss the development of sustainable next-generation biofuels, including
cellulosic ethanol, and their potential to offer returns for investors, as
well as a cleaner, greener and more secure energy future.
