Baker Names Hiddleston to Consulting Services Group
PITTSBURGH, Feb. 22 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Baker Consulting Services Group, a unit of Michael Baker Corporation (Amex: BKR), announced today that Craig I. Hiddleston, has been named senior vice president of the Group.
Baker Consulting Services Group (BCSG) was established in 2005 to expand the scope of services Baker traditionally provides to its clients. The Baker "consultants" are working with clients and projects in both the company's Engineering and Energy business segments at the strategic or early conceptual phases to identify the optimum technology, financing and general feasibility for major capital projects. BCSG is also pursuing opportunities to leverage the combined skills of all of the company's segments on behalf of Baker's clients and their projects.
Hiddleston comes to Baker from Enron Corp., where during Enron's post-bankruptcy era, he served as president and chief executive officer of Enron Canada Corp. and vice president of Enron North America. During this time, he led multifaceted teams to resolve over $1 billion of disputed contracts, disposed of miscellaneous investments and led other workout efforts. Previously, he worked for Westcoast Energy, Inc., in a variety of corporate development and business development capacities where he frequently was the client in the engineer/client relationship.
