Extensive Avaya Cabinet Product Line and BLC System Combine
to Provide Multiple Outside Plant Options for Carriers
Occam Networks Inc. (OTCBB: OCCM), a supplier of innovative
Ethernet and IP-based loop carrier equipment to telecommunications
companies worldwide, today announced an agreement with Avaya Inc.
(NYSE: AV), to provide integrated cabinet solutions for its Broadband
Loop Carrier (BLC) systems. Through the agreement, Avaya will provide
custom cabinet solutions including new cabinet design and testing for
Occam customers. Occam's flexible BLC platform and Avaya's extensive
cabinet product line and ability to quickly design custom cabinets
dramatically expand the equipment options available to IOCs engaged in
quickly delivering voice, video and data services to subscribers.
