Pick-Up Truck Business Marks Company's First Structural Business in Asia-Pacific Region TOLEDO, Ohio, June 11 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Dana Corporation (NYSE: DCN) announced today that its Structural Solutions Group will supply structural support modules to Isuzu for its newly announced D-Max pick-up truck. The Structural Solutions Group has built a new facility in Bangpakong, Thailand, to manufacture the support modules for Isuzu's assembly facility in Bangkok. As part of its proprietary manufacturing processes, Dana will be introducing a compound-blanking process to Thailand. In addition to the Thailand facility, Dana has also established operations in the United States and Brazil to support this global GM-Isuzu pick-up platform. This new vehicle will be slated for sales and export to Europe, as well as the Asia-Pacific region. Based on Isuzu's production projections, Dana estimates that the new business in Thailand will be worth some $375 million for the life of the contract -- model years 2003 through 2009.
