Lynn Emmolo Appointed to General Manager for Intimate Beauty

            Corporation's New Joint Venture With Shiseido  
  NEW YORK, Oct. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Robin Burns, President and Chief 
Executive Officer of Intimate Beauty Corporation, Victoria's Secret Beauty and 
the newly established joint venture between Intimate Beauty Corporation and 
Shiseido Co., Ltd. announced today the appointment of Lynn Emmolo to General 
Manager of the new joint venture.  Intimate Beauty Corporation is a business 
of Intimate Brands, Inc. (NYSE:IBI).  
Reporting directly to Robin Burns, Ms. Emmolo will lead the new venture. 
As General Manager, she will be primarily responsible for successfully 
executing the launch of the joint venture partnership.  She will lead the 
joint venture partner teams in conceptualizing, creating, implementing and 
executing the brand identity.  She will then develop marketing and retailing 
strategies that mirror and promote the brand identity of the business.

Ms. Emmolo is currently Senior Vice President, Global and United States 
Marketing for Avon Products, Inc.  Avon is the leading direct seller of beauty 
and related products, with $5.3 billion in annual revenues, marketing to women 
in 136 countries.  At Avon, Ms. Emmolo oversees Global Brand Marketing, 
Creative, Research and Development, and Regional Marketing.  She is noted for 
her contribution in revitalizing and building Avon's global brand and most 
recently the launch of their new "Let's Talk" global advertising campaign.  
Prior to her six years with Avon, Ms. Emmolo had fifteen years of 
strategic marketing and product development experience at Cosmair, partnering 
closely with the Paris headquarters to build L'Oreal Cosmetics into a leading 
beauty brand.  
Ms. Emmolo started her business career at Polaroid Corporation in 
Technical Products.  She holds a Bachelor's degree in Marketing and 
International Business from New York University.  Currently, she serves on the 
board of the Olfactory Research Association.  
Ms. Emmolo currently resides in New York City and Montauk with her husband 
Richard, and daughter, Liliana.
