OfficeMax Agree to Form Alliance to Offer Business Services to Hotel

PHOENIX--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 12, 1997--Doubletree Hotels
Corporation (Nasdaq: TREE) today announced that it has formed a
strategic alliance with OfficeMax, Inc. (NYSE: OMX), to offer
business services to hotel Guests at the company's mid-market Club
Hotels by Doubletree brand properties. 
OfficeMax will equip each Club Hotel's Business Club Room with a
CopyMax digital printing and publishing business center, featuring a
fax machine, photo copier and laser printer, all credit card
accessible, and a complete Federal Express service station.
OfficeMax also will provide complimentary office supplies and tools. 
The Business Club Room was designed by Doubletree to offer
frequent business travelers access to all of the necessary tools
which duplicate an office environment while on the road.  Each Club
Room is equipped with productivity furnishings designed by Steelcase,
Inc., a cafe restaurant by Au Bon Pain Bakery Cafe, and a
self-service business center.  Club Hotels has pioneered the concept
of blending these highly desirable business amenities together in one
central location.

they are in the office.  They want access to work tools that will
keep them from getting behind the clock before they reach their

goods and services that frequent business travelers need." 
Each Business Club Room will have direct computer access to
CopyMax production centers throughout the U.S. through its CopyMax
LINK software.  Guests requiring color copying, collating and
numerous other services will be able to transmit documents to a
conveniently located CopyMax production facility for reproduction and
next-day pickup or delivery.  Additionally, Guests may order from an
inventory of over 7,000 office products from OfficeMax and have the
supplies delivered to their home offices.
