June 22 (Bloomberg) -- Nissan Motor Co. and Tesla Motors Inc. will get loans from the U.S. Energy Department to produce fuel-efficient cars, according to people familiar with the plans.

Loans to the automakers and Ford Motor Co. will be announced tomorrow, said the people, who asked not to be identified because the plans are not yet public.
