Feb. 8 (Bloomberg) -- Former Playboy model Anna Nicole Smith died today in Florida. She was 39. Smith died after collapsing in a hotel room at the Hard Rock Cafe and Casino in Hollywood, Florida. Last May, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that Smith had the right to pursue her claim to inherit $89 million from Texas oil tycoon J. Howard Marshall II. Smith battled in court with his son, E.
