Oct. 11 (Bloomberg) -- Mark Zandi, co-founder and chief economist of Moody's Economy.com, talks with Bloomberg's Matt Miller from West Chester, Pennsylvania, about the rise in U.S. home foreclosures in September, outlook for the mortgage market and the impact of the housing downturn on consumer spending. U.S. foreclosure filings doubled last month to 223,538 from a year earlier as subprime borrowers struggled to make payments on their adjustable-rate mortgages, RealtyTrac Inc. said.
