Chile to Keep Raising Rates as Economy Strengthens, Corbo Says

Dec. 16 (Bloomberg) -- Chile's central bank will keep raising its benchmark lending rate ``slowly'' as the economy benefits for rising exports, said Chilean central bank President Vittorio Corbo.
The central bank has increased lending rates twice this year to 2.25 percent. Corbo told reporters at a news conference at the bank's headquarters in Santiago.
