Dec. 16 (Bloomberg) -- Henry Blodget, co-founder of Silicon Alley Insider and a former Merrill Lynch & Co. Internet analyst, talks with Bloomberg's Mike Schneider about fraud allegations against Bernard Madoff and the role of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

Blodget was barred from the securities industry and fined by regulators following an investigation by former New York Attorney General Eliot Spitzer into firms that provided tainted research on companies to win investment banking assignments.
