June 16 (Bloomberg) -- Credit Suisse Group AG, Switzerland’s biggest bank by market value, appointed Simon Yuan co-head of the financial institutions team at its investment banking unit for Greater China.

Yuan, formerly head of the Hong Kong-based China financial institutions group at Merrill Lynch since 2004, will report to Rob Jesudason, head of financial institutions in Asia Pacific and Zhang Liping, head of Greater China investment banking, the bank said in an e-mailed statement today.
