Five U.S. Soldiers Killed in Iraq, One Wounded, Military Says
March 5 (Bloomberg) -- Five U.S. soldiers were killed and another was wounded in two separate incidents in Iraq yesterday, the U.S. military said.
Four soldiers assigned to the first Marine Expeditionary Force died in action while conducting security operations in al-Anbar province, west of Baghdad, the military said today in an e-mailed statement the capital Baghdad.
A One Task Force liberty soldier was killed and another wounded in a vehicle accident near Tikrit, northwest of Baghdad, the military said. The incident is under investigation.
