July 9 (Bloomberg) -- Two buses crashed killing 36 people on Peru's Panamerican Highway, 360 kilometers south of Lima, RPP Radio station reported on its website.
Police officers and firefighters arrived at the site of the collision, which RPP said was caused by mist along the country's main road. One of the two drivers fled the scene of the accident, while the other survived the crash with no injury, the radio station said.
The website published a list of names of 18 dead and 19 injured. Some bodies were still stuck in the wreckage, RPP said.
