Eskom Board Dispute Spells End of ‘Good Governance,’ Union Says

Nov. 10 (Bloomberg) -- The dispute between the chief executive officer and chairman of Eskom Holdings Ltd. spells the end of “good governance” at the state-owned power utility, the National Union of Mineworkers, said.
The labor union, known as NUM, worked with Eskom Chairman Bobby Godsell while he was chief executive officer of AngloGold Ashanti Ltd., and he isn’t racist, Frans Baleni, secretary- general of NUM, told reporters in Johannesburg today.
