S. Africa’s ANC, Cosatu Want Central Bank Mandate Broadened

Nov. 15 (Bloomberg) -- South Africa’s ruling African National Congress and its alliance partners -- the Congress of South African Trade Unions and the South African Communist Party -- have agreed that the central bank’s mandate must be reviewed and broadened, ANC Secretary General Gwede Mantashe said. He made the comments to reporters in Johannesburg today.
