April 28 (Bloomberg) -- The role of South Africa's Finance Minister in the country's government will be decided over the next two weeks, Mathews Phosa, the treasurer general of the ruling African National Congress, said, according to Business Day newspaper.

Manuel will remain in government, Phosa said, without saying which position he will hold, the Johannesburg-based newspaper said. |Tito Mboweni, South Africa's central bank governor, will remain in his role, the newspaper said, citing Phosa.
