Aug. 14 (Bloomberg) -- The International Criminal Court approved a request by former Congo politician Jean-Pierre Bemba Gombo for his interim release.

The court deferred the actual release, saying it will first determine in which country Bemba will be released and under which conditions, the court in The Hague said in a statement posted on its Web site today.
