Sept. 22 (Bloomberg) -- Tokyo Electric Power Co. and Electric Power Development Co. plan to improve their hydroelectric power plants because the companies expect the new Japanese government will call for the reduction of carbon dioxide emissions, Nikkei English News reported, without saying where it got the information.
