By Mayumi Otsuma
Nov. 6 (Bloomberg) -- Japanese Finance Minister Hirohisa Fujii said he will meet with U.S. Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner in Tokyo next week to talk about the world economy.
“I would like to discuss how to manage the global economy, and we probably won’t go into details about the Japanese economy,” Fujii said at a news conference in Tokyo today.
Geithner will visit Japan on his way to a meeting of finance ministers from the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation group in Singapore.
