Nov. 4 (Bloomberg) -- Tatsuya Ichihashi, 30, the only suspect in the murder investigation of Lindsay Ann Hawker may have had plastic surgery, the Asahi newspaper reported, citing an unidentified person familiar with the investigation.
A person thought to be Ichihashi visited a clinic in Nagoya last month where he received a procedure, the report said. The man didn’t show for a follow-up appointment on Oct. 31, it said.
Ichihashi has been on the run since police found the 22- year-old British woman’s body buried in sand in a bathtub in his apartment in Ichikawa City, east of Tokyo, in March 2007.
