Japan May Increase Funding for Childcare Centers, Nikkei Says

April 3 (Bloomberg) -- Japan may double a child-raising support fund, which can be used for renovating daycare centers, to 200 billion yen ($2.01 billion), as part of a new economic stimulus package, Nikkei English News said.
A 1.6 trillion yen plan to increase employment in medical and nursing care services is also being considered, the report said, citing a government draft proposal.
