By Seonjin Cha

Nov. 15 (Bloomberg) -- South Korea’s police and fire authorities are investigating the cause of a fire that killed 10 people yesterday, including Japanese tourists.

Officials from the southern port city of Busan, where the fire occurred, are also helping the families of the Japanese victims as they arrive in South Korea today, according to a faxed statement.

Six people injured by the fire at an indoor shooting range yesterday, including Japanese citizens, are being treated in hospital, the statement said.

Eight of those killed in the fire were Japanese visitors who stopped at the shooting range as part of a tour, Yonhap News reported, citing police officials it didn’t name.

Police are taking DNA tests to identify the dead, the report said.
