Square Enix Drops to Five-Year Low After Postponing Earnings

Feb. 5 (Bloomberg) -- Square Enix Holdings Co., creator of the “Final Fantasy” game series, fell to the lowest in more than five years in Tokyo after saying it will postpone announcing its earnings results.

The stock fell 11 percent to 1,936 yen as of 9:30 a.m. on the Tokyo Stock Exchange, the biggest drop since June 2003. The Tokyo-based company said yesterday after markets closed it will delay reporting its third-quarter results to Feb. 12 from Feb. 6.
