Airbus May Produce Two Versions of Future A320, Tribune Says

Sept. 2 (Bloomberg) -- Airbus SAS, the world’s biggest commercial planemaker, is considering building both single- aisle and twin-aisle variants of the A320 jetliner when it produces a new version of the aircraft, the French daily La Tribune said, citing an unnamed executive at the company .
The twin-aisle version would meet the requests of low- cost carriers as well as some large airlines who want to be able to get passengers on and off the aircraft more quickly, the newspaper said.
