Nov. 12 (Bloomberg) -- The following companies may be active in European trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses and share prices are from the last close.
Europe’s Dow Jones Stoxx 600 rose 0.4 percent to 246.20, and the Dow Jones Stoxx 50 Index climbed 0.2 percent to 2,494.35. The Euro Stoxx 50 Index, a benchmark for nations using the euro, gained 0.9 percent to 2,881.01.
A.P. Moeller-Maersk A/S (MAERSKB DC): The owner of Maersk Line, the world’s largest container shipper, may report earnings before interest and taxes of 6.6 billion kroner ($1.3 billion), the average estimate of analysts surveyed by Bloomberg. The stock rose 2.7 percent to 37,600 kroner.
Acciona SA (ANA SM): The world’s second-largest wind power company will report third quarter earnings before the market opens. The shares fell 1.3 percent to 88.40 euros.
Aegon NV (AGN NA): The owner of U.S. insurer Transamerica Corp. will report third-quarter results before stock trading starts. Aegon advanced 4.1 percent to 5.48 euros.
Anheuser-Busch InBev NV (ABI BB): The world’s largest brewer is scheduled to report third-quarter earnings before the start of trading. The shares dropped less than 0.1 percent to 32.10 euros.
Banco Comercial Portugues SA (BCP PL): Portugal’s second- biggest publicly traded bank by market value said nine-month net income rose 25 percent to 178.1 million euros. The stock rose 0.3 percent to 0.94 euros before the earnings announcement.
Buzzi Unicem SpA (BZU IM): Citigroup Inc. raised its price estimate on shares of Italy’s second-largest cement maker to 12 euros from 10.6 euros. The shares rose 3.1 percent to 11.6 euros.
Electricite de France SA (EDF FP): Europe’s biggest power producer is scheduled release third-quarter sales. The shares added 1 percent to 37.95 euros.
Galp Energia SGPS SA (GALP PL): Portugal’s biggest oil company said third-quarter net income declined to 78 million euros from 139 million euros a year earlier. The shares rose 0.9 percent to 12.32 euros.
GDF Suez SA (GSZ FP): The owner of Europe’s largest natural-gas network is scheduled to publish third-quarter sales. The shares rose 1.1 percent to 29.64 euros.
Repsol YPF SA (REP SM): Spain’s largest oil company is scheduled to report third quarter earnings. Profit adjusted to exclude inventories and one-time items may have dropped to 243 million euros from 723 million euros a year earlier, according to the median estimate of five analysts surveyed by Bloomberg News. The shares gained less than 0.1 percent to 18.82 euros.
Royal Vopak NV (VPK NA): The world’s biggest oil storage company will give a trading update before the market opens. Vopak climbed 1.5 percent to 51.20 euros.
Societa Cattolica di Assicurazioni Scrl (CASS IM): Italy’s Catholic cooperative insurer said that net income in the first nine months of the year rose to 51 million euros from 36 million euros a year earlier. The stock advanced 0.5 percent to 22.22 euros.
Telefonica SA (TEF SM): Spain’s largest telecommunication company will report third quarter earnings before the market opens. Net income may reach 2.01 billion euros ($3.01 billion) on sales of 14.2 billion euros, according to average estimates compiled by Bloomberg. The shares fell 2.9 percent to 18.99 euros.
