By Nicholas Comfort

Oct. 22 (Bloomberg) -- Germany will cut subsidized tariffs for electricity from renewable sources, with the exception of solar power, from Jan. 1, 2012, Financial Times Deutschland reported in a summary of an article to be published today.

German lawmakers want to agree to cuts in the aid paid to solar-power generators in the “short term,” the newspaper said, citing a copy of a document to be used by the country’s next government.
