Gazprombank Gets $2.5 Billion From Russian Bailout Bank VEB

Nov. 3 (Bloomberg) -- OAO Gazprombank, the lending arm of Russia’s largest company, said it received 74.3 billion rubles ($2.5 billion) from state bailout bank VEB to increase lending to the “real sector” of the economy.

Gazprombank has 10 years to return the money, which is in the form of a “subordinated deposit,” the company said in an e- mailed statement today, without providing more details of the transaction.
