Nov. 10 (Bloomberg) -- Generali Deutschland Holding AG, the German unit of Italy’s Assicurazioni Generali SpA, said net income rose more than fourfold to 262 million euros in the first nine months of the year from 59 million euros a year earlier, helped by higher investment income.

The company commented in an e-mailed statement today.
