Deccan Aviation's Board to Meet on Kingfisher Airlines Alliance

Dec. 19 (Bloomberg) -- Deccan Aviation Ltd., India's largest discount airline, said its directors will meet to consider a report on expanding an alliance with Kingfisher Airlines Ltd.
Bangalore, India-based Deccan's board will meet today to consider a report by Accenture Ltd. on ``synergies'' with Kingfisher, the budget airline said in a statement posted on the Web site of the National Stock Exchange. Kingfisher's parent, the UB Group, purchased a 26 percent stake in Deccan in May.
