India's Production at Six Key Industries Grew 3.4% in June

Aug. 12 (Bloomberg) -- India's production at six key industries, which account for a quarter of the nation's industrial production, rose 3.4 percent in June from a year earlier, the government said.
The index for the six key industries rose to 232.5 in June from 224.8 a year earlier, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry said in a release in New Delhi today.
Production in the three months ended June 30 rose 3.5 percent, compared with a 6.4 percent gain a year earlier.
