India's 10-Year Yield Holds Near 1-Week Low as Funds May Rise

Dec. 20 (Bloomberg) -- India's 10-year bond yields held near the lowest in a week on speculation increased spending by the government will add cash to the banking system.

The yield on the 7.99 percent note due July 2017 was little changed at 7.88 percent as of 9:20 a.m. in Mumbai, according to the central bank's trading system. The price rose 0.02, or 2 paise per 100 rupee face amount, to 100.75.
