Nov. 10 (Bloomberg) -- India faces a short-term challenge in exiting monetary stimulus programs, Reserve Bank of India Deputy Governor Shyamala Gopinath said today in Mumbai.

Demand and market conditions will determine the central bank’s exit plan, she said. A delayed exit may endanger inflation expectations, Gopinath said.
