Jan. 4 (Bloomberg) -- Tennis player and musician Yannick Noah and comic actor Dany Boon are French people’s favorite personalities, according to an opinion poll carried out for Le Journal du Dimanche.

This is the second straight year that Noah has topped the list, this time with 31.3 percent support. Boon, who starred in last year’s French film hit “Bienvenue Chez les Ch’tis,” ousted soccer player Zinedine Zidane to win the number two spot. Zidane came third, the poll showed.

French President Nicolas Sarkozy was 42nd in the list of 50. The survey was based on a survey of 1,000 people who each listed 10 people they liked.
