Danone, Derichebourg, Fonciere Lyonnaise: French Stocks Preview

May 26 (Bloomberg) -- The following is a list of companies whose stocks may have unusual changes in Paris. Symbols are in parentheses after company names and prices are from the last close.

France’s CAC 40 Index advanced 8.19, or 0.3 percent, to 3,236.16 in Paris. The SBF 120 rose 5.51, or 0.2 percent, to 2,344.74.

Danone SA (BN FP): Europe’s biggest maker of baby food said it’s seeking to raise 3 billion euros in a rights offer to cut debt and increase financial flexibility. The operation will start “in the coming days,” Chief Operating Officer Emmanuel Faber said on a conference call with reporters today. He didn’t give more details. The shares added 48.5 cents, or 1.2 percent, to 39.62 euros.

Derichebourg SA (DBG FP): The environmental- and airport- services company postponed the board meeting to approve its half-year earnings while it holds talks with its bankers over additional financing. The board meeting is now scheduled for May 31. The shares rose 4 cents, or 2.4 percent, to 1.72 euros.

GDF Suez SA (GSZ FP): The owner of Europe’s biggest natural-gas network signed a partnership agreement with Total SA (FP FP) and Areva SA (CEI FP) to offer nuclear energy production and operation services to the United Arab Emirates. It also raised its stake in Italy’s Energie Investimenti, buying a 40 percent holding from Camfin SpA for 119 million euros. The shares closed unchanged at 26.55 euros.

Societe Fonciere Lyonnaise SA (FLY FP): The real-estate trust sold an office building on boulevard Haussmann in central Paris to RREEF Spezial Invest GmbH for 27 million euros. The shares gained 52 cents, or 2 percent, to 26.45 euros.

Tonnellerie Francois Freres (TFF FP): The maker of barrels used in wine production bought 50 percent of California-based Stavin. It didn’t give financial terms. The shares advanced 14 cents, or 0.6 percent, to 24.70 euros.
