New York Bourse Seeks to Be First in China Listing, Times Says
By Theresa Tang
Nov. 9 (Bloomberg) -- NYSE Euronext seeks to be in one of the first groups of foreign companies to list in Shanghai, the Hong Kong Economic Times said, citing Ronald Kent, the U.S. bourse’s head of international listings for Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia.
Chief Executive Officer Duncan Niederauer will meet Chinese regulators this week to discuss the possible listing and cooperation in other businesses, the Hong Kong-based Chinese-language newspaper said, without saying where it obtained the information.
