Dollar Falls as Paper Says Arab States May Stop Using Greenback

Oct. 6 (Bloomberg) -- The dollar fell against the euro and the yen after the Independent newspaper said the Arab states may stop using the U.S. currency for oil trading.
The dollar dropped to $1.4682 per euro as of 10:33 a.m. in Tokyo from $1.4648 in New York yesterday. The U.S. currency weakened to 89.20 yen from 89.53 yen.
