July 14 (Bloomberg) -- Bernard Madoff was transferred to the U.S. Penitentiary in Atlanta to serve a 150-year prison term, according to the Web site of the Federal Bureau of Prisons. Madoff was sentenced last month after pleading guilty to running the biggest Ponzi scheme in U.S. history.
