Chrysler Non-Tarp Lenders Object to Auction, Bankruptcy Loan

May 4 (Bloomberg) -- A group of Chrysler’s secured lenders is seeking to block the company’s plan to auction its business, with an alliance with Fiat SpA as the lead bid. The group, calling itself Chrysler’s non-TARP lenders, referring to the Troubled Assets Relief Program, also objected to the company’s request for approval of a $4.5 billion bankruptcy loan from the U.S. Treasury.
