Gazprom Will Cut Off Gas Supply to Ukraine Tomorrow, Miller Says
By Stephen Bierman
Dec. 31 (Bloomberg) -- OAO Gazprom will cut off gas supplies to Ukraine from 10 a.m. tomorrow, Chief Executive Alexei Miller said.
Miller said the move by Russia’s gas exporter followed Ukraine’s rejection of Russian proposals, and that no result has been reached yet in talks with Ukrainian officials on resolving the dispute between the two countries on gas pricing and debt. Gazprom will continue to supply gas to Europe, he said.
