May 2 (Bloomberg) -- Jack Kemp, who championed supply-side economics in nine terms as a congressman after a career as the quarterback of the Buffalo Bills National Football League team, died today after a long illness, the Associated Press reported, citing his spokeswoman Bona Park and former campaign adviser Edwin J. Feulner. Kemp disclosed in January that will had been diagnosed with cancer, the report said.
